Children’s Mercy Hospital

During my employment at Children’s Mercy Hospital as a CNA, I was commissioned by my managers, families, and peers for odd design jobs. I designed a sweatshirt/t-shirt that raised over $2,000 for my unit in August, 2025. I collaborated with patients, families, and speech therapists to create speech/accessibility aids for patients with communication difficulties. I also created signage to be posted outside of patient rooms and collaborated with peers to create a new, highly effective “brain” sheet for organizing shift tasks.
